DALTI can export the archived data on external physical media.
DALTI supports the creation of any media.
The dry laser printers generate films without using chemical products. The dry laser printing of films is commanded by the protocol "DICOM-print", protocol that DALTI supports.
Paper prints are usually produced for referring physicians with the aim of report documentation. Nowadays the printing resolution is excellent. DALTI commands the paper printers by supporting the protocol Print Standard / PostScript.
The DALTI paper print server (or "DICOM-printer") converts the DICOM-print protocol into PrintStandard/PostScript. This feature is useful when a viewing station has no direct output running the protocol Print Standard / PostScript. In that case, indeed, DALTI can use the DICOM-print output of the viewing station, and convert it into Print Standard / PostScript for commanding a paper printer.
DVDs / CDs can be burnt, either manually on the DALTI stations, or automatically by a robot of DVD/CD imager.
These DVDs/CDs can contain the pictures and/or the report (as text, maybe voice, and customized specific charts).
The recipient of the DVD/CD is usually the patient or his practitioner. But in some cases the DVD burning is done with an aim of archiving or back-uping.
